Every day I receive around 6 ‘talentscan’ registrations of women who feel unhappy in their life, relationships or job. And 4 out of 6 registrations, the women write to me that they are desperately looking for their purpose.
It seems like every self-help blog harps on the idea of finding one’s purpose. Without it, it seems like you lead a pretty meaningless life.
Purpose has become a loaded word. As if you can’t be happy if you never found your purpose.
What do you do when you’ve lost your purpose (or never had one to begin with)?
First step:
➡️Start by understanding what he word exactly means.
“The best description of purpose was written by Mastin Kipp. He described purpose as:
An emotion that you cultivate within yourself, and express to others in the form of service.
➡️Second step:
Understand why you haven’t found your purpose yet
You can have your ego’s version of your dream which is usually born from disconnection and insecurity and trying to overcompensate for those three things.
- We are too scared to feel our feelings,
- We are scared to change our beliefs,
- We are too afraid what other people think of us if we do follow our true passion
You can get all the money and fame and not be fulfilled.
So what can you do? Be aware how many times you say to yourself,
‘I must do things’
Instead of ‘I want to do this’.
There is no Flow and Passion in ‘I must do this‘
So if you say a lot times ‘I must do this..or ‘I must do that‘..then for sure you are not living your own life,
You will never find purpose and flow if you don’t live and work from your essential self.
And if you say a lot of ‘I must‘ you are not living from your essential self.
So start doing things that you really love to do and that light up your soul and more purpose start to come into your life.
Life and purpose is about emotion. ❤️
Your can’t find your purpose in your head (or ego) You must connect with your heart. When there is no emotion, there is no life.
It doesn’t matter whether you are in a romantic relationship, corporate job, or on a spiritual quest, emotions are driving you forward or keeping you dead.
Your transformation has to happen in a somatic and emotional way.
I know that the idea of discovering your purpose can feel larger than life. It can feel like something so big it’s impossible. Try to take the first step by making one step in that direction. Starting today.
A question for you:
Look back at your life and remember those moments that made you feel you had come alive. Or think of those things that frustrates you the most. My biggest frustration for example, is my biggest passion.
If I see women with a lot of potential not using their REAL strengths, and live a ‘small’ live, I can feel frustration but also a big passion to help the women who do want to play a bigger game and live their fullest live.
I want to help the women who know in their heart, there is so much more for them in life. I want to help women who are tired of playing small, who are tired of pleasing and for women who work too hard.
Live is too precious for that.
This summer my dearest uncle died. Who was like a father for me when I was younger.
He was incredible smart! And such a beautiful man. With a beautiful soul. He worked hard his whole life and wanted to travel through Europe when he retired. And then he got sick. Did not get to do with his life what he really wanted to do.
And then my heart weeps.
Cause that is why I am here on earth.
To help you get your REAL strengths out into this world so that you can help other people with what you love to do the most.
To help women (especially female entrepreneurs) who feel tired of lying to themselves.
Cause that is what this world needs.
Women who came alive and who want to share their REAL strengths with the world and ask good money for it.
Share in the comments what moment made you feel you had come alive or what frustrates you the most and start making your purpose come alive.
With love
